We managed to drag ourselves away from Cactus Beach and planned the next stop at Kimba. When we arrived it was very hot and the camp site didn't have a lot of shade so we pushed on to Port Germein.

It was still hot but there was a breeze and we had a nice shady spot, We have been here before and everything was just as we had left it. It is a very sleepy town whose claim to fame is the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere, a pub that made Ali sick on our last visit (it was her fault not the pubs!) and the junkiest junk shop you have ever seen.

Karen who runs the shop is a very talented quilter so that made Ali's day. Karen kindly allowed me to take a panoramic photo of the shop. . .
