I think I have managed to get the laptop working again. It doesn't seem to like flying with Virgin Blue and has refused to work for the past week or so after flying from Brisbane to Melbourne

Here is a brief update of what we have been doing:

Pete and family After the wedding we flew from Perth to Brisbane to visit Peter (the best man without a tie) and Rachael and their children.
We then drove north with friends John and Ros to spend a few days in a cabin in the Byfield National Park. The cabin was set in a rain forest and was a great place to relax for a few days. The view from the cabin at Byfield
Ros and John at the singing ship

Ros and John at the Singing Ship monument in nearby Keppel Bay. The monument was erected in Keppel Bay in 1970, 200 years after Captain Cook discovered the bay in 1770 and it plays tunes when the wind blows but there wasn't a breath of it when we visited.

John offered to whistle instead but he couldn't get enough wind up either!
