Still in Pemberton but a much less strenuous day today, a half day trip along an old railway track in a tram. The tram driver gave a continuous commentary as we travelled through the Warren State Forest, slowing down to point out orchids and other interesting plants. We stopped a few time to do short walks around points of interest. | ||

The railway track passed over this old trestle bridge that was made out of jarrah (of course) and still very strong. Railway Trestle Bridge |

After getting back from the tram journey, we drove down to Point D'Entrecasteaux to see the cliffs. We used some of the forest tracks for some of the journey and had to cross some falls. Hopefully, it washed out some of the sand we collected from he dunes yesterday. The navigator suddenly changed jobs again as soon as she saw that we had to clamber over boulders and leapt out and became a photographer! Moon Crossing |

Another interesting place on the way down to the cape was Mount Chudalup. This is a 130mtr high granite monolith. There was a track to the top but we wanted to get to the cape and time was pressing! Mount Chudalup |
